NDIS Group Centre Activities
What are Group and In-Centre Activities? Social and recreational activities play an important role in maintaining and improving mental wellbeing. Along with one-on-one social and community participation, Carbal offers group and in-centre activities. They encourage connection and engagement with the community, provide opportunities to meet new people, and learn new skills or hobbies.
NDIS Centre group activities help NDIS clients to come together and share their experiences with while providing an outlet to learn new social skills and develop strong personal relationships. Examples of Group and In-Centre Activities Include: Men’s and Women’s Social Groups; Sharing a meal; Fishing; Learning a new craft with visiting artists and crafts people; Playing board games; Movie nights with plenty of pop-corn; Attending op shops, markets and garage sales; Social BBQs around popular sports events like the State of Origin.
